The Yellow Card

Getting Started with Antidepressants

The Yellow Card is a portable, laminated psychotropic medication information resource that folds and fits into a pocket. It’s “normally hard to find” collection of information is valued by physicians, pharmacists, residents, students, and mental health care providers alike. The 7th Edition was released October 2012.

Tabulated content includes: Antidepressants, Antipsychotics, Mood Stabilizers, Sedatives/Anxiolytics, Psychostimulants, Switching Antidepressants, Psychotropic Drug Interactions, Psychotropic Side Effects & Management, Psychotropic Toxicity/Emergencies, Recommended Web Resources, and Alcohol/Benzodiazepine Withdrawal.

Laminated copies of the psychotropic Yellow Card are available from the Department of Psychiatry, Dalhousie University.
